Frequently Asked
Questions
Practical answers about ownership, orders, fit, service, and your Cervélo bicycle.
Buying & ownership
How do I choose the correct bicycle size?
Performance-bike sizing depends on your measurements, riding goals, and fit preferences. Cervélo recommends working with an Authorized Dealer who can assess you in person. Geometry charts for current models are available on each bicycle’s product page.
Where can I find an Authorized Cervélo Dealer?
Use Cervélo’s official dealer locator to find the nearest authorized retailer. Buying through an authorized retailer is also required for warranty coverage.
Where can I buy small parts and accessories?
Small parts and accessories are available through Authorized Cervélo Dealers, and selected products are available from Cervélo’s official webstore.
Where is my bicycle’s serial number?
Most serial numbers are underneath the bottom bracket shell. On some models, the number is on the left dropout. Older bicycles may have it stamped directly into the bottom bracket shell.
Orders & returns
When will my order ship?
Orders generally ship the next business day. Processing can take 3–5 business days during peak periods.
How long does standard delivery take?
Standard shipping within the continental United States generally takes 3–5 business days. Canadian delivery generally takes 3–5 weeks, depending on customs and destination.
Can I exchange an item?
Direct exchanges are not offered. Return the original item according to the return policy, then place a new order for the preferred item.
When will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after the return reaches the warehouse and are issued to the original payment method.
Technical support
Can I use my Cervélo on an indoor trainer?
Yes. Disc-brake frames can be used with an appropriate through-axle adapter. Some trainers require conversion to standard thru-axles. Damage caused by trainer use is not covered by the limited lifetime warranty.
Which bicycle rack should I use?
Use a rack that does not clamp the bicycle by its frame. Clamping the top tube can cause damage that is not covered by the limited warranty.
How do I determine maximum tire size?
Tire and rim dimensions vary after installation. A minimum 4 mm clearance must remain between the tire and any frame element. Ask an Authorized Cervélo Dealer to confirm compatibility.
How often should my fork and headset be inspected?
Regular inspection and maintenance are essential. If you detect anything unusual, stop riding and ask an Authorized Cervélo Dealer to inspect the fork. A damaged fork should never be ridden.
Warranty & service
What does the frame warranty cover?
The original owner receives limited lifetime coverage against defects in workmanship and materials, subject to purchase date, exclusions, and the complete Cervélo warranty terms. Paint and decals are excluded.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Take the product and original proof of purchase to an Authorized Cervélo Dealer. The dealer will inspect it and contact Cervélo’s Warranty Team.
How can I repair paint or decal damage?
First ask an Authorized Cervélo Dealer to inspect the bicycle for structural damage. Paint and decal damage is not covered by warranty. For cosmetic matching, Cervélo suggests consulting a local automotive body-paint specialist.
Where can I find recall information?
Cervélo maintains current and historical information on its official Product Recalls page.
